Dubai Shopping Festival is a festival born on February 15,
1996 and focused on the promotion of Dubai as a leading shopping city. It is
organized as a tourist attraction (rare of its kind) and runs for a month in
the first quarter of the year.
The Dubai shopping festival was postponed in 2006 following
the death of Sheikh Maktoum ben Rachid Al Maktoum1.
At this world-renowned festival, millions of shopaholics
flock to storefronts and 2,500 stores in Dubai for duty free sales.
The Dubai malls, these large shopping centers, impressive
gigantism and adorned for the occasion of thousand lights and colors, expose
these festival-goers of a particular kind to the possibility of all the
excesses ... They propose promotional offers on products also varied than
automobiles, ready-to-wear, carpets, electronic equipment, cosmetics or
computers.
As for the souk of gold, it offers big promos.
On the sidelines of this festival of promotions, concerts of

Shopping Festivals

Mall of the Emirates began in 2013 and should be completed in October. The
