The different types of tourism

There are 5 different types of tourism:

-Tourism of leisure

-Cultural tourism

-Tourism animal and natural

-Tourist sports

-Tourism gastronomy.

I will show you the characteristics of these in the following 5 articles.

Cultural tourism  This is one of the oldest and most developed. In the XVIII century, at the time of philosophers, intellectual training had to be completed by the trip. This kind of tourism concerns cultural heritage, religious buildings (churches, monasteries, abbeys) and civil city, castles, archeological sites, palaces), museums, cultural and artistic events.

Business tourism  Business tourism is a sector that has developed especially from the 90s. he concerns stays organized for purposes commercial, training, convention. It's about the organization of conferences, congresses, seminars. To accommodate this typology of "tourists" it is necessary have large accommodation structures with conference rooms, equipment IT and staff with training technology.

Health tourism  This is a brand new tourism sector that has a very big success now. This type of t. ,who formerly was mostly dedicated to the elderly, today is about a much larger audience looking for balance and physical well-being and psychic. Fair tourism  This is a new type of tourism born from taking of the damage caused in many destinations by the trip designed as mass product. Following pollution problems, of wild urbanization and the exploitation of some minorities, tourism professionals offer ethical holidays in the respect of the environment and assistance to host peoples.

Religious tourism  It is a very old form of tourism and continues to be successful. These are trips to religious vocation conceived as pilgrimages or visits to the sanctuary cities and often organized by Catholic associations. Places intended to host this typology of tourists must possess a high receptive capacity and be well served. This tourism is often accompanied by the cultural one that includes the guided tour of churches, abbey, sanctuary.
