Egypt is experiencing a resumption of
tourism. The country has seen its income from tourism more than triple between
January and September 2017 compared to the same period of 2016, we learn

Tourism, one of the country's main
sources of foreign exchange, collapsed after the 2011 "Nile Revolution"
in the wake of the "Arab Spring". The ensuing Islamic attacks,

In the first nine months of 2017, tourism

The average spending per tourist on
January-September 2017 was $ 88.2 per night. Some 5.9 million foreigners,
including 3.2 million Europeans, traveled to Egypt over the period, an increase
of 55.3%.
In 2010 before the uprising, Egypt
