Ali Al-Habsi, of his full name Ali Abdullah Harib Al-Habsi is
a soccer player, born on December 30, 1981 in Muscat. He has been playing since
2015 for Reading.
Biography
Al-Habsi has played three seasons in Norway with FC Lyn Oslo,
where he has earned his best performances, earning him Best Arab Keeper and
Best Goalkeeper of Norway in 2004.
Transferred to Bolton in January 2006, he will have to wait
until September 2007 and a meeting against Fulham in Carling Cup (winning
Bolton 2-1), to make his debut with his new club.
Replacing the excellent Jussi Jääskeläinen, he played his
part perfectly against Bayern Munich during the 2007-2008 UEFA Cup and saved
his team many times from the assaults of the Bavarians. Jääskeläinen injured
his back until the end of the season, He made his debut in the Premier League
against Wigan on March 16, 2008 (defeat 0-1). The player who had not played a
Championship since October 2005, his mission being to maintain Bolton among the
English elite, given that the club was then relegated. Then at the end of the
