In the Definitive Edition of the game, the ruins can be returned to either by using the Spirit Well's warp function or by destroying the rock blocking the path after confronting Kuro with Charge Flame.

Push the lever, then jump/glide to the right and knock down the birds if necessary to stay close to the ceiling. At the top right are secret area #29/45 and skill cell #23/33. Exit this room to the lower left to reach the path that leads to the Abandoned Ruins.

Step on the breakable stone on the right to get a Spirit Light Container. Hit to return to the right, then smash the log that comes out of the ground several times until the hatch opens. Drop down and stomp on the creature several times. Once dead, the left door will open.

Go left and take the second keystone. It's a dead end, so go right back and the forest will change again. If you go right, you'll see Atsu's torch below, but you can't reach it yet. Continue to the right until a dead end, then return to the left.

 

Where are the Misty Woods in Ori?

 

Ability Cells Cloud Woods is a vast expanse of dark forest located at the far western edge of Nibel's borders, to the left of the Valley of the Wind, next to the strip of water that separates Niwen from Nibel.

 

How to use the Air Dash Ori Switch?

 

It is activated by pressing the RB button for controllers or Ctrl for PC. It can only be used while Ori is down. Ori will continue to take damage from enemies while charging.
