Oxford

Founded in England in 1973, Oxford has over the years made a name for itself in the two-wheeler industry. Initially specializing in motorcycles and motorcycling racing, Oxford began by offering motorcycle accessories, before launching into the manufacture of U-locks for bicycles. The English brand founded by Alec Hammond once criss-crossed the county of Oxford to sell top boxes for motorcycles. Today it has greatly diversified its range of products and accessories for bicycles.
Inexpensive padlocks for small purses

Oxford offers models of locks at low prices to allow everyone to have access to a solution to protect and secure their bicycle. As for the cable models, we find for example the Combi6 with code or the Hoop Cable. With key or code, the cable of several millimeters in diameter is reinforced by a plastic sheath allowing it to better resist attacks.

Oxford also sells U-lock models. Developed for both motorcycles and bicycles, they have the advantage of being very resistant. The pocket U-lock like the Oxford HD Mini, for example, is designed as a disc lock but also makes it possible to effectively secure a bicycle.
A pioneer in anti-theft with alarm

Oxford is also famous for its U-locks with alarm. Most models are also sold with a cable. These U and cable handset models therefore provide triple security. The U which allows to attach the frame and the wheel of the mount to a fixed point. The cable that allows you to attach the second wheel or an accessory like your helmet, and the alarm to deter the most malicious thieves.

This is particularly the case for models such as the Oxford Alarm-D Max Duo or its pocket version Alarm-D Mini or the Shackle12 DUO U-Lock with key. For a more robust padlock, you will have to turn to the Boss Alarm disc lock. This has been designed to protect both motorized two-wheelers and bicycles.
