Our rates for bicycle insurance

Our rates vary according to the purchase value of the insured bicycle.

However, the amount of insurance cannot be less than €15 for a classic bicycle and €16 for an electrically assisted bicycle (VAE).

In addition, the maximum value of the cycle that we can insure cannot exceed €8,000 including tax.

In all cases, the cycle must have been purchased new from a professional (purchase invoice) less than 30 days ago.
What we guarantee

    For a period of 12 firm months (no automatic renewal). If your cycle is less than 2 years old at the end of the warranty, you will be offered to renew the warranty. You will receive an email offering you to carry out this renewal.
    The damage: the breakage of the cycle following a fall, accident, shock or transport accident...
    The theft of your cycle, with burglary or assault excluding thefts in the home and in cars, subject to the use of a lock referenced on our list which you can consult on this page: list of locks cyclassur.
    The repair of your cycle is done without insurance expertise to guarantee rapid compensation.

Our intervention limits

General limits: The maximum limit of compensation is equal to the declared value of the cycle capped at €8,000 incl. tax, deductible and obsolescence to be deducted.

In damage: No obsolescence the first 12 months for new cycles. The maximum annual compensation limit is equal to the declared value of the cycle capped at €8,000 including tax.

For cycles acquired more than 30 days ago on the date of joining Cyclassur, the amount of the refund will be deducted from a wear and tear of 1% per month from the month of first circulation of the cycle, calculated on the initial declared value of the new cycle with a minimum of 10%.

In flight: the amount of the reimbursement will be made after deduction of 1% obsolescence per month from the month of first circulation of the cycle, calculated on the initial purchase price of the new cycle with a minimum of 10%.
