Nature of the work

Required training and access to the trade
Employers will require future assessors to have a college diploma as well as accreditation by the provincial municipal assessment association. For their part, future evaluators must successfully complete a college program or professional training in evaluation or have several years of experience in the field. Membership in the Order of Chartered Appraisers of Quebec (OEAQ) is mandatory to use the title of Chartered Appraiser in this province.
