The Great Wall1 (Simplified Chinese: 长城 Traditional Chinese: 長城 Pinyin: Chángchéng, Wade: Ch'ang²ch'eng², literally "the long wall"), also called "The Great Walls" is a group of Chinese military fortifications built, Destroyed and rebuilt several times and in several places between the 13th century BC. Tourism
The Great Wall is one of the main tourist attractions of the country. Approximately 15 to 16 million people visit the Wall of China each year12.
