Visit my doctor

Recently my wife who had states of mind discussed our couple with our attending physician. Nothing transpired until last week when I made an appointment for an assessment of my occupational disease.

On the phone, he also made me understand that if I wanted it could be talked about my "trouble".

When I questioned my wife, she told me that she had talked about my thoughts and questions about my female "I".

Thursday morning, I took my courage with both hands and it was Galwenne who came to the doctor's office. My heart beat at 100 an hour in the waiting room, just occupied by someone who had left me alone early. 15 minutes of anguish, the entrance of a mother of family with her children then my turn arrives. Phew !! No derogatory reflections no staring. Total indifference.

My doctor pauses for a moment when he sees me, then invites me to enter the office. He watches me for a while and declares.

- I think a hormonal assessment would be necessary.

"Your wife is far from reality. How long have you felt this need ??

There followed a dialogue for thirty minutes (sorry for the other patients) and an appointment to be taken with an endocrinologist.

For him I would also have to contact a psychiatrist of his friends who should be able to understand my syndrome.

His positive reaction strengthened me but I feel ready for the big jump. Still many questions.

He walked me to the door of his office calling me by my first name.

- It's not embarrassing said he, he's masculine feminine. Easier to wear.

Takes, Galwenne / Dominique has just taken his first steps in society.

A return home on a small cloud, a day with troubled spirit, then a return to the life of every day in my male disguise.

Today it is the mind full of doubt that I have written these lines. Did i do well ???
